This is a Migna Safety Solutions course with a Migna certificate of completion. It is not OSHA Outreach Training and does not include a Department of Labor card.

Asbestos is still in millions of older buildings, and the workers most at risk are those who disturb it without knowing it's there — during renovation, demolition, and maintenance. This awareness course teaches what asbestos is, where it hides, how it causes disease, how the standard classifies asbestos work, and exactly what to do (and never do) when you suspect it. Awareness level only: this course does NOT authorize you to handle, disturb, or abate asbestos — accredited abatement training under the AHERA model is required for that work. Issues a Migna certificate of completion.
