Bloodborne Pathogens Annual Refresher

Introductory · Course MIG-GI-110

The annual bloodborne pathogens refresher required by 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(ii), for workers who have already completed full training.

This is a Migna Safety Solutions course with a Migna certificate of completion. It is not OSHA Outreach Training and does not include a Department of Labor card.

OSHA requires bloodborne pathogens training at initial assignment and at least annually thereafter. This condensed refresher is for workers who have already completed the full course and need the yearly review — it revisits exposure routes, the exposure control plan, universal and standard precautions, engineering and work-practice controls, PPE, the HBV vaccine, what to do after an exposure incident, and labeling. Upon passing you receive a Migna certificate of completion; annual retraining is required by the standard.

Seat time is enforced on our servers. The clock is calculated from signed progress events rather than in your browser, so it cannot be sped up — a certificate that states 16 minutes of training means it.

Retraining due every 12 months

This interval comes from the standard the course is written against, not from us. The date is printed on the certificate, and we email a reminder before it lapses.
