An emergency action plan is the document that decides what happens in the first four minutes, and it is usually written once, filed, and never read again by anyone who would have to act on it. This course covers when 29 CFR 1910.38 requires a plan and which standards trigger it; the six elements every plan must contain and what a real answer to each looks like; the written and oral requirements and the ten-employee exception; alarm systems under 1910.165; exit routes under 1910.36 and 1910.37, including the requirements people violate without noticing; the companion fire prevention plan under 1910.39; accountability after evacuation, which is where most plans quietly fail; and the training and review triggers in 1910.38(f). It is honest about the standard's limits. 1910.38 does not require you to drill the plan. Drilling it is still the only way to find out whether it works, and this course explains what a drill reveals that a document review never will. Issues a Migna certificate of completion.
