Fall Protection Awareness

Introductory · Course MIG-CON-105

Recognize fall hazards and use personal fall arrest systems correctly (29 CFR 1926 Subpart M).

This is a Migna Safety Solutions course with a Migna certificate of completion. It is not OSHA Outreach Training and does not include a Department of Labor card.

Falls remain the leading cause of death in construction. This course covers the trigger heights and where they differ, fall hazard recognition, the hierarchy of controls, guardrail systems, safety nets, hole covers, warning lines and controlled access zones, personal fall arrest components and inspection, fall clearance and swing fall calculation, anchorage requirements including horizontal lifelines, ladder and roof work, and rescue planning for suspension trauma. Issues a Migna certificate of completion with a publicly verifiable certificate number.

Seat time is enforced on our servers. The clock is calculated from signed progress events rather than in your browser, so it cannot be sped up — a certificate that states 42 minutes of training means it.

This certificate does not expire on a clock

The standard behind this course sets no fixed retraining interval, so we do not print one. Retraining is triggered by events instead — a new hazard, a changed process, or an observed deficiency. Your employer or insurer may set their own interval, which is a real obligation but not a federal one.
