Hearing Conservation Annual Refresher

Introductory · Course MIG-GI-101

The annual refresher required by 29 CFR 1910.95(k) — assumes you are already enrolled in your hearing conservation program.

This is a Migna Safety Solutions course with a Migna certificate of completion. It is not OSHA Outreach Training and does not include a Department of Labor card.

This is the yearly refresher for workers already in a hearing conservation program because their noise exposure meets or exceeds OSHA's 85 dBA action level. It is a condensed review, not a first-time course: how noise permanently damages hearing, the action level and permissible exposure limit, audiometric testing and standard threshold shift, and getting real protection from your hearing protectors. OSHA requires this training every year for every worker in the program. Upon passing you receive a Migna certificate of completion documenting this year's refresher.

Seat time is enforced on our servers. The clock is calculated from signed progress events rather than in your browser, so it cannot be sped up — a certificate that states 15 minutes of training means it.

Retraining due every 12 months

This interval comes from the standard the course is written against, not from us. The date is printed on the certificate, and we email a reminder before it lapses.
